Charitable donations are a very important part of our sanctuary. We rely on our supporters to help in the process of caring for animals that, without your help, would spend their lives in physical and mental anguish, or potentially perish.
In a given week our organization receives 4-10 animals, including birds, cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, and even the occasional reptile. While our partnership with Adventures in Birds, a retail operation, provides a path for obtaining the food and supplies needed to care for our rescue animals, only a small portion of our expenses can be absorbed. Through donations from the supporting public we are able to ensure that every animal receives the medical attention and mental stimulation required to rehabilitate and re-home the pets acquired through SBABS.
